Meet Derek

This month, we’re celebrating Derek, one of our veteran drivers who has been part of the DX crew for over nine years. Derek is known for being safe, effective, and efficient—three things we value highly at DX. When there’s a challenging delivery that calls for precision and experience, Derek is the guy we call—delivering with the finesse you’d expect from a ROAD-EO competitor, a national driver competition hosted right here in Phoenix.

• Experience that counts: Nine years of DX knowledge means he knows Phoenix streets and job sites like the back of his hand.
• Trusted with tough jobs: From tight alleys to small clean-ups where a 10 yard dumpster is the perfect fit, Derek gets it done right the first time. And when it comes to major job sites where a 30 yard dumpster is needed, Derek knows how to position it safely and efficiently.

Life Off the Clock

Outside of work, Derek trades in heavy equipment for two wheels—you’ll find him at Black Mountain BMX, racing on Phoenix’s own track that hosts weekly races and national-level events. And when game day rolls around, he’s repping black and gold with Fan of the Logo Arizona, the local Steelers community that brings Pittsburgh pride to the Valley.
